Belmont Stakes lineage in $1.799M Syosset manor house
Recently Coach Realtors listed a manor house built as a summer home in 1913 by August Belmont IV, member of the prominent horse racing family and the grandson of the founder of Belmont Park. Belmont, an investment banker, also owned several Belmont Stakes winners, a race named in honor of his great-grandfather. The house is on the market for $1.799 million
