Unity Center for Urban Technlogies is a great school to me because, it provides me with the tools I need to learn. I am learning more than I expected. When I am in school I feel safe in class and in the hallways. they also offer to us saturday academy where teachers tutor us in each subject that are our weakness.

PS 130 is a truly fine school. It has lovely children, a talented and focused staff and a great parent body. Its principal, Mrs. Lily Woo, is extremely competent. She demonstrates fairness and professional sensitivity to all. In my own time as a teacher, she provided me with enormous support when a loved one in my family was seriously ill. I feel fortunate to have taught at PS 130 for 22 years.

CHELSEA CAREER & TECH HIGH SCHOOL

I attended Chelsea High School and i have to say that i loved it. In my opinion the teachers were not only there to teach but to mentor the students through the daily troubles each and everyone of us faced. I also loved the neighborhood, where else could you visit the local art galleries, and shop at SOHO's boutiques all on your lunch period. The environment alone fostered to a daily learning experience. Yes, academically I would say that its an average school, but this is not due to lack of support from the teaching staff, or poor curriculum.

I attended Transfiguration from 1960 to 1969. I was taught by the Maryknoll Sisters. They were fantasic. It was a great school. We all loved it. And until today we are still in touch with the sisters that taught us. We love them. To me Transfiguration was always the best and is still the best.
