Our Lady of Grace is truly a one of a kind place that for those children and families that are fortunate enough to attend they will be so happy with not only how their children thrive there but also they will love the community spirit of the school. You will not find a better pre school on Long Island. My children both attended from 3-8yrs old and loved it. By third grade they were confident boys and girls that were ready for the next challenge . The teachers and Sister Kelly are amazing educators and we were so happy to be a part of it.

St. Mary s College Preparatory High School makes each student feel welcome. The exciting summer freshman orientation camp in New Hampshire gets students involved even before classes begin. At the school, staff member are caring and dedicated; they are accessible and helpful. Students and parents are kept well informed with homework, attendance, grades and other information posted online and with automated phone calls. Differentiation (Regular, Honors, AP classes) provides coursework at the proper level. In addition, the students benefit from year-round extra help sessions and Regents review classes. Most important is St. Mary s focus on the whole child. With the personal attention given, students are able to voice their concerns, ask for help, seek guidance and share their ideas and talents. Participation in after-school activities is encouraged and valued. St. Mary s H.S. is a safe, warm environment, where our teens are not just prepared for college, but also prepared for life.

I was shocked at some of the reviews I read regarding Manhasset schools. I attended the public schools in Manhasset from a young age, graduated, went to an Ivy League school and then a superb law school. I moved back to Manhasset so my children can obtain the same great education I did. One of my children is special needs and is thriving at Manhasset due to the superlative teachers and administration. The facilities are not falling apart. They are old, solid and well-built. Classic and well-maintained. The school is a safe place and vibrant place to learn.

My daughter, now in high school, attended this school for four years. It felt like a private school. Dr. Kendall, the principal, is approachable, caring and responsive to parent concerns. The teachers were excellent.

Shelter Rock has fantastic teachers that really care about their students. They make sure that the kids understand the work and if they are struggling with anything they make sure they receive the help they need. The Principle and Vice Principle are also amazing caring individuals. I don't think any other schools have a Principle and Vice Principle that care so much about their students and are so involved with all the students. Shelter Rock has such a strong academic program especially in 6th grade that the children move on to the middle school feeling confident and well prepared.
