The Oyster Bay High School and school district in general, is amazing. We have relatively small classes, many programs and a staff that caters to the children while making sure that every child gets the education he/she deserves. We are getting an increase in the number of private school children attending our schools because the word is getting out!!! You can't beat the education and the small community feel of this school.

Smart boards in most classrooms. A science teacher that is devoted to the kids. School is improving although there isn't much to improve. The principal is wonderful, and it is such a great warm environment for the K-2 students. I couldn't be happier with a school. My kids thrived in Roosevelt. Unfortunately more and more people are finding out about the wonderful things happening in Oyster Bay. Even with the influx of private school children, we hope to keep the small hometown environment with excellent scores. This is the best school district on Long Island based on demographics, grades, size of school and the wonderful community.

East Woods School is a wonderful place for children to learn and develop. My children have attended East Woods since Nursery class. Right from the start, I knew this was a warm and wonderful place to be. They have grown and matured into wonderful young people. East Woods reinforced all of the morals and values that we teach our children at home. They were encouraged to take risks and were academically challenged every step of the way. They were fully prepared for successful futures because of their amazing introduction to school life at East Woods.
